Thrift AI works without knowing who you are. There is no account, no sign up, and no profile. Photos you scan are used once, to price the item, and are not kept by us. Your finds, your profits, and your inventory live on your phone and nowhere else.
Thrift AI is made by Orbion SARL. The app helps you see what secondhand items actually sell for, so you can decide whether a find is worth buying.
Thrift AI does not ask for or store:
If we do not have it, we cannot lose it, sell it, or share it.
When you scan an item, the photos travel securely to our pricing service, where they are analyzed to identify the item and estimate its market value. The photos are used only to produce your result and are discarded after the analysis is complete. They are not used to build a profile of you and they are never sold.
Please scan items, not people or personal documents.
Your saved finds, scan history, folders, prices, and profit records are stored on your device. We cannot see your inventory, your purchases, or your earnings. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
We collect anonymous statistics about how the app is used, for example which screens are opened and which features are popular. This tells us what to improve. It is not connected to your identity.
When you first use the app, Apple may ask whether you allow tracking. If you say yes, we use an advertising identifier only to understand whether our ads brought you to the app. If you say no, nothing changes and every feature works exactly the same.
Thrift AI offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, Thrift AI Pro, which unlocks unlimited scans and all Pro features. Two plans are available:
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars; the exact price is always displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by country, as it is charged in your local currency by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions, or in the App Store app. Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
All purchases are handled by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your card number, billing address, or any payment details.
Thrift AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the app as well.
